Effective 12 October 2026

Terms & Conditions

These terms govern access to Eat Code and orders for corporate meals, catering, gifting and related services.

Starter draft for professional legal review before publication.

1. About these terms

By creating an account, submitting an enquiry or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you act for a company, you confirm that you are authorised to place orders and accept these terms for that company.

If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Accounts and information

You must provide accurate, current information and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity through your account and should notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.

3. Orders and service enquiries

Menu availability, minimum quantities, delivery slots and service capacity may vary by brand, location and date. An enquiry is not a confirmed booking. An order is accepted only when Eat Code confirms it or receives the required payment.

Please review item quantities, dietary selections, delivery details and contact information before confirming an order. We may contact you when clarification or a suitable substitution is required.

4. Pricing, GST and payment

Prices are shown in Indian rupees. Applicable GST and any clearly disclosed charges are added before payment. The final payable amount shown for a saved order is authoritative.

Online payments are processed by Razorpay. Eat Code does not store complete card, UPI or banking credentials. Razorpay may apply its own terms and privacy practices. A payment is complete only after it has been verified successfully.

5. Delivery and fulfilment

Partner brands generally prepare and deliver their orders. Delivery times are estimates and can be affected by access restrictions, traffic, weather, item availability or other events beyond reasonable control. Your organisation must provide safe and timely access to the delivery location.

Please report missing, damaged or materially incorrect items as soon as reasonably possible with the order details and supporting information.

6. Changes, cancellations and refunds

Cancellation, amendment and refund eligibility depends on the order, preparation status, partner brand and agreed service proposal. Contact Eat Code promptly. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method or another agreed method and may take time to appear.

7. Loyalty points

Eligible paid orders earn one point for every ₹100 paid. One point equals ₹1, and points may cover up to 50% of an eligible order subtotal. Points have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and may be reversed when an order is cancelled, refunded or found to involve misuse.

Eat Code may update or discontinue the loyalty programme with reasonable notice, while respecting points already applied to confirmed orders.

8. Food information and allergies

Menu descriptions and dietary labels are provided by Eat Code or partner brands for convenience. Kitchens may handle common allergens and cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment unless expressly agreed in writing. Customers are responsible for communicating material allergies or dietary requirements before confirmation.

9. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with operations, submit unlawful content, commit payment fraud, scrape protected information or use the service in a way that harms Eat Code, its partners or other users.

10. Intellectual property

The Eat Code name, website content, interface and original materials belong to Eat Code or its licensors. Partner names, logos and menu materials remain the property of their respective owners. No rights are transferred except the limited right to use the service.

11. Responsibility and liability

We provide the service with reasonable care. To the extent permitted by Indian law, Eat Code is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss caused by inaccurate customer information, or events outside reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms to reflect service, legal or operational changes. The effective date above will be revised when updates are made. These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute process and competent forum will be determined under applicable law unless separately agreed in writing.
